Corrections policy

Anyone: the clinic itself, a patient, or a third party. We do not treat a correction request from a clinic differently from one sent by a member of the public.

• The clinic profile URL on Beirut Dental Rating.
• The specific field or criterion you believe is wrong.
• What the correct information is.
• A publicly accessible source we can check — the clinic’s own website, its Google Business Profile, a public register, or a published price list. We cannot score a claim we cannot verify.

1. We acknowledge the request.
2. An editor checks the source you provided against what is published on the page.
3. If the source supports the change, we update the record, store the source URL against that criterion, and set a new “last checked” date on the profile.
4. If we cannot verify the claim, we say so and leave the criterion recorded as not publicly verified rather than removing or inventing it.
5. Scores and ranking positions recalculate automatically from the corrected evidence. We never hand-adjust a position.

We do not remove a clinic from a ranking on request, do not suppress accurate publicly sourced information, and do not raise a score in exchange for payment, advertising, backlinks or any other consideration. 

Use the details on the contact page. Corrections are also the fastest route for a clinic that wants a higher score: publish the missing information on your own site, tell us where it is, and the formula does the rest.
